Dough & Flow - Yoga and Sourdough Making Retreat 🥖 - 24th-26th April 2026
Dough & Flow 🥖✨: A weekend to rise, rest, and restore
24th - 26th April 2026 | Cowslip Meadows, Leicestershire
A slow weekend retreat of movement, mindfulness, and the magic of making bread.
We’ll follow the rhythm of the dough - feeding, resting, stretching, folding - moving gently between hands-on making and body-led practice. From starter to rise, from breath to bake, this is a slow and sensory celebration of body, bread and being. A weekend of warm crusts, soft mats, wild swims and woodsmoke.
Over the course of the weekend Russell will guide us through the magic (and mess) of sourdough - from feeding the starter, to stretching and folding dough, to baking it in a crackling wood-fired oven. We’ll get our hands sticky. We’ll talk about fermentation, patience, the joy of crust. We’ll eat what we make - fresh bread still warm from the oven, pizzas under the stars.
Woven gently through each day will be yoga and meditation practices led by Kayleigh. Soft, steady, and rooted in the moment - an opportunity to catch up with yourself as the weekend unfolds. Morning movement in the open-air yoga space, evening stillness by candlelight. There’ll be time to dip into the wild swimming pond, sweat it all out in the wood-fired sauna, or lie in the grass and do absolutely nothing.
We’ll also share a cacao, yoga nidra and sound healing - space to soften, reflect, and drop a little deeper. This isn’t about doing it all. It’s about slowing down enough to notice what’s rising, and letting yourself be held by land, people, and the rhythm of the weekend.
What’s included:
Hands-on sourdough workshops – from feeding your starter to folding, shaping and baking
You’ll leave with everything you need to keep baking at home, including your own bubbling starter and simple instructions
Daily yoga and meditation to help you soften, stretch and settle into your body
Cacao, yoga nidra and sound healing to support rest and reflection
Time in the wild swimming pond and access to the wood-fired sauna
Nourishing vegetarian meals throughout the weekend
Two nights’ stay in a cosy cabin at Cowslip Meadows – solo or shared options available
Each cabin has its own wood fired hot tub
Accommodation:
We have three cabins available to book for the weekend.
Cabin A - 1 double bed + private hot tub (1 solo or 2 people sharing)
Cabin B - 1 double bed + private hot tub (1 solo or 2 people sharing)
Cabin C - 2 double rooms + shared hot tub (2 solos or 3/4 people sharing)

A note on numbers:
Our sourdough retreat runs with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 10 - we like to keep things intimate but sustainable. If you’re coming solo, we’ll allocate cabins based on bookings to make sure everyone has a beautiful, comfortable space and we’ll always check in with you before confirming final room arrangements.
Our last Dough & Flow in October was such a beautiful and nourishing weekend. We can’t wait to host it again!

“We had the most fantastic time at the Dough & Flow weekend. You made it such a welcoming and magical experience. I have been inspired by the weekend and all who attended. I'm still singing! My sourdough loaf went down a treat and I'm actually baking tonight, I've kept on top of feeding and activating my starter! It was a beautiful place too felt so relaxed. Thank you we will definitely be joining you again!”
We like to keep things real and transparent around here.
Every guest — whether you’re tucked up in a cabin or camping under the stars — receives the same full retreat experience: all the yoga, all the sourdough-making, all the meals, swims and community moments. That’s the heart of the weekend, and it’s what your booking really pays for.
The difference in price comes down to how you choose to stay.
Cosier spaces and private tubs naturally cost a little more, while shared rooms and camper spots keep things accessible for all budgets. Solo occupancy is higher simply because we’re a small retreat and every bed counts — you’re reserving a whole room or cabin to yourself, and we want that to feel special and fair.
We don’t inflate prices or chase luxury. Our goal is to cover our costs, pay our team fairly, and keep the circle small enough for real connection. If you’re coming in your van or joining for the day, you’re still part of the full flow of food, workshops and community — just sleeping under your own roof.
Thanks for understanding the balance. Every booking helps this little ecosystem thrive.
