Join us at the incredible Fire & Stars woodland for a big Beltane celebration!
Beltane is the second fire festival in the Celtic Wheel of the Year - marking the half way point between Ostara (Spring Equinox) and Litha (Summer Solstice). This is the traditional May Day celebration of fertility, rising summer energy and of course surrounded by the inevitable mayflower blossoms of the Hawthorn!
We’ll be gathering at Fire & Stars woodland - a respectfully managed and massive area of natural beauty - perfectly placed half way between Birmingham and Leicester. We’ll also have access to their beautiful sauna nestled amongst the trees! It’s our first event at this space and we are super excited to share the woodland with you our wonderful community!
The flow of things:
🔥 4pm - Arrivals and grounding
🔥 Beltane ceremony and herbal Hawthorn plant medicine ritual
🔥 1 hour access to the incredible woodland sauna and cold dip
🔥 Songs around the fire, drum circle jam and food
🔥 8pm - Group nervous system regulation and closing circle
As always we’ll provide some wonderful delicious snacks and chai tea - as well as our bring-and-share feast - we adore all of the wonderful yummy snacks you all bring to add to the nourishment!
Bring an instrument or a song or poem you’d like to share around the fire (or just sit and receive the wonderful sounds of co created music!).
Bathe in the resonance of 10 acres of native trees and shrubs, listen for owls and bats and watch the song thrushes dance amongst the trees!
Get steamy in probably the HOTTEST sauna we have ever been in! With incredible views over the woodland as it bursts into summer leaf!
